Buddha Bowl
OH MY GAH was this good. I had few girl friends over for dinner and wanted to make us a healthy buddha bowl! The cool thing about buddha bowls is that you can put anything you want in them! This was my asian spin on a buddha bowl with five spice roasted veggies, basmati rice, tofu + cashew sautée, & the most delicious miso tahini dressing. It all tasted even better the next day!
Miso Glazed Black Cod
Talk about melt in your mouth good! Black cod is the best when freshly caught that day. My favorite fish market to go to is Captain Kidds in Redondo Beach. I was lucky enough to show up at the perfect time, they had just received fresh black cod caught two hours before I got there! The miso glaze I marinated the fish in creates the perfect sweet + tangy bite. I love to top the cod off with furikake and micro greens for a bit of color. Try this glaze on any fish p=of your choice, It even goes well on chicken and tofu!
Lemongrass Thai Steamed Halibut
This simple Thai dish can be made in your own kitchen! It's versatile in what seasonings you can use. Also feel free to experiment with other types of fish. The halibut being steamed with the Thai flavors gives your whole house a nice aroma and brings a delicious juicy flavor to the fish. Enjoy with a side of sautéed beans and mushrooms! Enjoy!
Quinoa + vegetable stuffed portobello

Looking for a yummy cream sauce that is dairy free? This dish is a great option if you're craving pasta with a rich decadent sauce, but don't want to feel heavy after you eat! Sub spaghetti squash for the base with fresh halibut and volia you have a delicious creamy lemon spaghetti squash with baked halibut!
Pistachio + parsley crusted salmon over a fennel + kale salad
This is one of my favorite ways to prepare my salmon. The pistachio and parsley crust on the fish is truly the perfect bite. I love adding in the kale and cooked fennel underneath the fish. It gives this decadent fish the perfect amount of acidity it needs. Feel free to enjoy the fish or salad on their own!
Stir-fried Sesame Eggplant
This recipe is easy to make and perfect for any Asian + Japanese dinner night! This dish is one of my favorite ways to prepare eggplant! I made this dish on sashimi night with my family. I wanted to add a yummy vegetable dish to the spread. If you love a sweet + spicy dish this recipe is perfect for you.
Miso Glazed Salmon with Cilantro Crema + Seared Bok Choy
In this recipe I used a simple miso glaze that can be used on any protein, vegetable, or even as a sauce! The flavor of my delicious cilantro creama pairs perfectly with my decadent miso salmon and sesame ginger bok choy. I like to sear my bok choy on the outside so that it remains crunchy on the inside. Make this dish for any dinner guest and they will not be disappointed. It is easy to make and turns out delicious every time!
Butter Lettuce Fish Tacos
I am always looking for ways to make fun dishes without any processed ingredients. These butter lettuce tacos are made with fresh yellowtail from the local fisherman and toped with chipotle crema and a purple cabbage slaw!
Sesame Miso Soba Noodles + Stir Fry Vegetables with Cast Iron Shrimp
This is the perfect recipe for a light and healthy noodle dish that is jam packed in flavor! For all my non-shellfish eaters this recipe is easy to change up the protein while reserving the same flavor concept, or remove the protein at all & keep it plant based! Add different veggies in and don’t be afraid to throw red pepper flakes in for that extra kick!
Broiled Halibut Over Mediterranean Vegetables + Blistered Tomatoes
This is a great mediterranean dish to make for any night! Simple and versatile, I love how many different vegetables I can throw into this recipe! The halibut being cooked with the tomatoes, onions, and garlic brings a delicious juicy flavor to the fish. Enjoy with a side of roasted asparagus or rosemary roasted potatoes.
Cast Iron Chicken Thighs with Pistachio Pesto
A good pesto can make any protein a standout dish, and it only takes a few extra steps to make these chicken thighs stand out! For extra yum, I use a cast iron because it helps crisp the outside of the chicken while leaving it moist on the inside!
Ahi Poke Bowl
Poke Bowls are extremely clean and healthy! The one I’ve created is packed with of omega 3 fats, nutrient rich vegetables and minimal calories and processed carbohydrates! The best thing about it is no poke bowl has to be the same. Look at what I made and make one of your own!
