How My Journey Began
I grew up in a South Georgia town where going out and eating healthy food was not an option, this led me to begin my journey of holistic nutrition and food. I realized at a young age what real food can do for my body thanks to the healthy lifestyle my parents instilled on my sisters and I. We always explored and experimented in the kitchen – keeping seasonal ingredients and soulful recipes at the center of our practice. After graduating high school, I poured myself into my passion for food and health and achieved a certification as a Holistic Nutritionist through Bauman College. Then went on to work at many different wellness cafes, which led me to realize I wanted more skills in the kitchen. I pursued this dream of becoming a wellness chef and graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in Los Angeles with a certification in Health Supportive Culinary Arts. During culinary school I learned the importance of plant-forward recipes and further explored food as medicine by cooking Ayurvedic, macrobiotic, and paleo diets.
I am now proud to share my expertise as a Wellness Chef + Holistic Nutritionist. My passion is to guide others on the path of wellness and help people find balance in their life! My chef work is influenced by transforming local and seasonal ingredients into diverse, versatile, and delicious meals that leave my clients with nourished bellies and happy souls. Recently moved to Aspen, Co, I am excited to see what new local produce I will get to work with!
