Superfood Chocolate Bark

Superfood bark? Sounds healthy, right? Well—yes, in moderation! It still contains sugar, but only the natural kind. I use Hu chocolate baking gems as the base, sweetened with raw coconut sugar for a cleaner treat. The best part of making your own bark is customizing the toppings—I went with chia seeds, goji berries, flaky salt, and pistachios for the perfect mix of crunch, sweetness, and flavor!

SUPERFOOD CHOCOLATE BARK

Prep time: 5 mins

Serves: 3-4

Cook Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 20 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup Hu chocolate baking gems

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp goji berries

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • pinch of flaky maldon salt

  • 1 tbsp chopped pistachios

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Melt your chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler, continue to stir every 20 seconds. This should take 3-4 minutes.

  2. While your chocolate melts, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Once chocolate is silky smooth pour onto your parchment paper. Spread into an even layer with a flat spatula and add your toppings.

  3. Place your bark in the freezer for 10 minutes or in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to harden. Enjoy!

Stays good in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
