Black Bean Brownies

Looking for a sweet treat that is packed with nutrients? These black bean brownies are the perfect choice. These brownies are packed with protein from the beans and the only sweetener used is dates!


Counting down the minutes till the brownies are done!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can black beans, rinsed

  • 14 pitted dates

  • 1 cup cacao powder

  • 4 tbsp oat flour

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup oat milk

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 cup almond butter

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips, unsweetened

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Mix all ingredients besides almond butter and chocolate chips, in a blender until it becomes brownie consistency. Sometimes you may need to add more milk.

  3. Pour batter into a square greased pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake for 30 minutes.

  4. Let cool 30 minutes before drizzling almond butter on top. Then enjoy!
